Mr. Borys is an economist and Polish manager specialized in banking policy, capital market and economic policy. President of the Polish fund in force and chairmanship of the supervisory board in Gospodarstwa Krajowego Bank (May 2016).
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Warsaw School of Economics, specialized to be able to provide international information.
He started his professional career in 2000 as the chief economist of the Erste Bank Group in Poland and from 2001 he managed to become head of the Analysis Department, fund manager, and then director of the Investment Department as part of investment funds in the Deutsche Bank-Deutsche Asset Management Group and DWS. He managed the pension programs of leading Polish financial institutions, such as the National Bank of Poland and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
From 2005 to 2010, he co-founded a Polish company specializing in investments on the private equity and venture capital market, acting as the vice president of the investment and consulting company AKJ Capital SA and the president of the management board of AKJ Investment TFI.
