Iurie Reniță, was appointed as the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Romania in 2010.
His Excellency was part of the first graduating class of the Moldovan students at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest. During 1996-1999 he was counselor at the Moldovan Embassy in Washington, D.C., after which he served as adviser to Foreign Minister. Iurie Reniță also worked for several years with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Mission to Croatia and was manager of the British American Tobacco, Moldova.
His Excellency was decorated with Romania’s National Order “Faithful Service” with the rank of Grand Cross in 2015. During 2016 and 2017 he served as the ambassador of NATO and Belgium.
